In Female Gaze onderzoeken vier QISSA-alumni hoe identiteit, vrouwelijkheid en representatie worden verbeeld. Met installaties, digitale kunst, textiel en sculpturale objecten brengen Rawen Jouini, Khaddouj Barghout, Esra Çopur en Halima Shaaban ieder een eigen perspectief naar Stedelijk Museum Schiedam.

De tentoonstelling is een samenwerking tussen QISSA en Stedelijk Museum Schiedam en brengt vier makers uit het Visual Storytellers-programma samen. Hun werk nodigt op inspirerende wijze uit om opnieuw te kijken naar bestaande beelden van vrouwelijkheid en representatie en deze te challengen.
